Thanks for visiting. I am an award-winning freelance Cinematographer and Commercial Filmmaker based in London and Hertfordshire.
I specialise in Documentary, Fashion, Product and Brand films — working with world-class directors, production companies and agencies to craft images that are compelling, considered and emotionally resonant.
Passionate for image-making, I've been in and around the filmmaking industry for over 20 years. I began as a camera assistant on feature films and commercials, and have since built a career as a DP known for adaptability, technical precision, and a genuine collaborative spirit on set.
I bring the same focus and creative investment to every project — whether it's a global brand campaign or an intimate documentary. My approach is always led by story, shaped by light, and driven by a desire to create images that last.
Photography
A dedicated hobbyist photographer whose eye for a still image regularly influences the motion work. Portrait photography is a particular passion, and these skills often directly contribute to client projects.
Film
Jez owns a 16mm camera and occasionally shoots on film for specific clients and projects where the grain, warmth and tactility of celluloid serves the creative vision.
Post Process
A competent editor, Jez often cuts smaller projects for clients or handles colour grading where required — giving him an end-to-end understanding of how footage needs to be captured for the grade.
